the first day was a 20 hour flight, 2 connection, 1 stopover to Rodo, Greece. it once again confirmed to me that i hate flying. the little space in the plane is complete nightmare, the stopover at edmonton sucks with boredom, the transfer at london gatwick is full of security and lineups, and then finally, the last flight is toreture...

alright, here is what i remembered,

abe food processed his ramen soupbase and transformed it into western veggie soup with shreds of mozzarella cheese, which i brilliantly suggested. then the main was, and i quote, "veggie alfredo spaghetti"

as always, i cheat it off with another twist to avoid the hours
i baked a potato and then mixed it with the alfredo sauce, shoved it in the freezer, then made it into korokke
along with mamalo's steam miso cod, veggies and purple rice

day19
now the goal of this day is to consume more of mama's food in the fridge..
so, i defrosted mama's tofu pocket thing and made the below with seaweed rousong rice stuffing and then, the other dish was suppose to be hundun with hot sauce, but the hot sauce was weird, lucky that at least the timing was great that abe just got back home :)

sushi take out from the small place on dunbar. we got a party tray with an order of tempura. this is the first time we took out food. we havent even gone out for dinner yet lol

we had our first potluck!!! ive invited shannon, who just got back from tw, and the usual gang, james, monica, and victor. apologies for getting the names wrong.
jaosn and vic put out the porch tables and chairs.
shannon and james brought 鹽酥雞, 甜不辣, and 痾阿煎.
monica and vic got 炒牛肉 and juice
jason cooked some rice for asian dishes before i got home
i did mix green salad with bell peppers and two kind of sauces, tuna corn mayo dip and sesame sauce tofu. oh, and i quickly did a jug of sangra with juice and a bottle of wine.
yes, i got home twenty minutes before they arrive, took a quick shower and then threw those things together in 15minutes.
good times good times. very relaxing, too bad we didnt go for dessert or the movie :(
ps: me and the brothers finish the espresso van gogh and bailey bottles in the fridge, which resulted me failing to wake up the next day for breakfast and lunch.

day 15
abe slaved for his ramen from scratch since he got off work. i got home an hour afterwards and waiiiiiiiiited for TWO hours. geezies, men and their ego pride.
the soup base was made from scratch of veggies and chicken. the toppings were boiled beforehand consisting of corn, peppers, celery, bamboo shoots, green onion and also slices of ham bought from stong's. there were also half boiled egg and cheese melts on top.

day 16
after three days of cheating it out, cooked some noodles i predefrozed in the fridge. made a random hot sweet sauce to go with it. turned out to be a nice cold dry noodle with kimchi and corns. i also heated the soup based from yesterday as a sidekick. :) (shhhh.... today's dinner is still cheating)

maybe tomorrow, we'll finish the red wine by doing beef stake with reduced red wine, then match it with some veggies.

快速的穿梭維尼斯街道到小島邊的碼頭做上回fusina的小船
我這才發現黑色roxy外套一點都不保暖！船一動我就全身冷颼颼的．．．
每天坐船進維尼斯感覺就像　乘坐專車進入巨大的夢幻遊樂園
遠遠的就感覺島上的各各工作人員開始就位　正等待你上岸
維尼斯好像是最少居民最多旅館的城市．．．

大概只有在这种环近下才会觉得这群鸟很有感觉
吃完中饭就带了点面包当ammo 便走向st.mark's square一边拨面包
到了那就开始喂鸟我的ammo一下子就没了 abe到相反了不知道为啥么没鸟要接近他
这长鸟站在他手上是好不容易照到的... （可能是那粉红T不怎讨喜吧）

今天的目的就是走其他人不走的路而图中这块区域完全没旅客！:)
虽然后来走的小捷径让人毛骨悚然通过那种低的窄的像防空隧道的小路时就会被我哥骂几下
胆小的我就是硬着头皮用跑得也走这些捷径毕竟是我选的.... 呵呵呵

the pizza store wasn't listed on lonely planet but it looked so awesome, we gave it a try. we decided to share one that doesnt have mushroom. the lady placed it back in the wood oven to heat it up and then placed it on a peice of paper for us the thick pizza was around 20cm thick yet the bread still tastes so awesomely unbelieavably yummy.
after that, we made regular visits to the store every day XD

quiet moment

honestly, venice was still very crowded even in september.
we found a nice quiet spot away from all the tourists beside the canel,
then we sat down and idled.

i like going by hunch, taking shortcuts, routes tourists dont take, areas that people dont go. just because i though maybe we'll find something interesting.
my brother likes to take the big roads, follow the crowd.
while we were getting lost because of my hunch, a bunch of beautiful junk appeared.
